This family lives in Florida, but were Texans first. In fact, the grandmother of these handsome kiddos was once a Kilgore Rangerette! They hired us for their family session in the bluebonnets while they were here in Texas for a wedding. After all, what self-respecting native Texan doesn't long to have bluebonnet photos of their kids? And bluebonnets don't bloom in Florida! :)
These images were taken during one of our bluebonnet mini-sessions a couple of weeks ago. Big brother was full of energy and silliness, which made for a fun session! I think we captured a lot of that silliness, but we also captured the sweetness between him and his sis, too.
We really enjoyed our session with baby "A" a few weeks ago and we're happy to finally share more of her images. This little one came a couple of weeks early and had us scrambling to get ready for her session. The night before the session, my wife was busy making headbands and was up until 3AM putting the finishing touches on them! Luckily, "A" slept so soundly that ...
Michelle and I are always up for something new, so when our clients told us they had a piece of driftwood and a fishing hat they would like to include in their newborn photographs, it got our "creative juices" going. We knew right away that our boat prop would fit with the items they wanted us to include, even though we weren't sure how we were going to use any of the props in a cohesive image.
Spring is in the air and babies are coming up like daisies!
We loved absolutely everything about the session. The lighting was beautiful, the couple was gorgeous and we captured some real emotion and love. Since this session just two weeks ago, mom and dad are now enjoying their new baby girl! We're also grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph her as well! Look for images of sweet baby "A" soon!
Many thanks to mom and dad and congratulations to you both and to your families!
