This was our third successful year for our Portraits With Santa event featuring Lester Morris as Jolly Ole' Saint Nick! The children really love coming back to Lester every year and the parents love him, too. (Michelle and I think he's the real deal, but let's just keep that secret between us!)
Many, many thanks to all of the families who braved the torrential rain to drag their kiddos out to see Santa. We would also like to extend our thanks to the fine folks at the Railyard Team Store at Dell Diamond in Round Rock for hosting the event and providing a great place to set up and take portraits.
We also had a short family session in The Woodlands at a beautiful local park. It was an early morning shoot and the lighting was just wonderful - especially with the fall-colored leaves all around. I'm sure you'll agree that Amber (AND Troy!) looks SO happy and in love with these two guys!
We had a little angel in our home on Saturday for a newborn session. Baby "A" was such a sweet, sleepy little model - simply one of the easiest babies we've had the pleasure to photograph. Mommy wanted black and white photographs from her session, to match her older brother's newborn photos a few years ago. There is definitely something about black and white portraits. They have such a classic and timeless look about them!

We were in The Woodlands last week visiting family for Thanksgiving and also scheduled a mini-session for my wife's good friend, Amber, along with her husband and new baby boy.
The weather was gorgeous and the little park we discovered had some beautifully-colored leaves and wonderful lighting. All of this natural beauty really compliments this handsome and happy little family!
Here's just one sneak peek for now ... there will be more coming in the next few days!
