We had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Mr. and Mrs. Veach's daughter ("A") for our Portraits With Santa event last year. "A's" were among our favorites of the day, so we were very excited when her mom contacted us this fall for family portraits! For this session, the Veach's wanted an urban, distinctively Austin feel, so we headed down to the South Congress/South First area.
This little angel paid us a visit for a short session with her parents yesterday. She looked so adorable in her red dress and earrings! The big smile was courtesy of mom, who was over my left shoulder doing her best to make this little model laugh.
What strikes me about these images is the vibrancy - the colors are bold and striking - very different from our usual outdoorsy locations. Perhaps even more so, I think I captured the vibrancy in the Veach family! I really enjoyed watching the three of them interact with one another, and they brought a lot of enthusiasm and energy to the session.

We're very pleased to return to Round Rock this year for our annual Portraits With Santa event! Two years ago we had the wonderful opportunity to work with Baby Earth in Round Rock and last year with Brilliant Sky Toys & Books in West Austin. This year we have another special opportunity to work with the fine folks at the Railyard Team Store at Dell Diamond in Round Rock!
Just like previous years, this special event is ONE-DAY only, with just 30 sessions with Santa available. We anticipate these slots filling up very quickly, so don't delay getting yours booked today!
In years past, we've done a combination of prints with low-resolution digital image files for online sharing. This year, however, all sessions will include high-resolution digital image file(s) with print release and a web-ready, low-resolution digital image file for sharing online! That way, you can have your favorite image(s) printed wherever you want - however many TIMES you want! Put them on holiday cards, make inexpensive gifts for family - the choice is all yours! Of course, if you so desire, you can order high-quality prints, cards and canvas products directly through us and our professional lab. We'll be happy to assist you in creating an heirloom piece that you'll cherish forever!

This past Saturday, we had a wonderful time photographing so many families dressed up in their Halloween costumes for Bump Club and Beyond Austin's 2014 Zoo Boo at the Austin Zoo & Sanctuary! This was our second year out there at this event and we really enjoyed all of the creative costumes!
