… Kim looked radiant in her golden maternity gown, especially when bathed in the late afternoon sun by the lake in Round Rock. After getting several photos there, she changed gowns and we drove to Taylor where we finished the session in a cotton field (obtaining permission first, of course!). The images among the rows of cotton plants were bathed in soft, magic light just before sunset and are special among our maternity portfolio. We hope you enjoy!

Ashley hired us to do her maternity photos and we met her at a park along Brushy Creek in north Austin/Round Rock. She brought her own “ice crystal” quartz crown and looked like some kind of crystal queen/goddess out there among the trees. In her red, flowy gown, she looked fiery - especially as a silhouette against the dramatic, red sunset!
We have some gorgeous images to share soon of our client, Michelle, who looked absolutely striking with her red hair and wearing the blue maternity gown! The parasol and the overcast sky make the entire image feel like April Showers to me. More soon!
This is something that we’ve seen done before, and my wife wanted to recreate it when she was pregnant with our third child. It’s an incredibly simple set up - just about a gallon of milk and a bouquet of fresh cut flowers. I don’t think we even used the entire gallon, just enough to turn the water white. We cut the flower tops off and placed them carefully around her. The beautiful Sew Trendy dress, Valerie, was a perfect choice. With it’s split front, we were able to pull it open just enough to expose her belly for a lovely cradled pose. We topped it off with a gorgeous flower crown from Sew Trendy as well.
